Hi Folks,
As the tilt says, What is the best setting? I have a turbo smart BOV and probobly like many BOV's it has an ajustment either hard or soft.
i.e.
Only vent pressure when the pressure is very high - Hard
- Pro's; It doesnt leek Boost,
- Con's; its difficult to vent boost pressure and only for short burst and therefore not venting all the extra pressure and possibly stalling or slowing the turbine causing lag.
Very easy to vent boost pressure - Soft
- Pro's; Very easy to vent boost pressure therefore reducing lag and the possiblity of stalling the turbine :headbanger:
- Con's; Leaks boost and therefore cannot make full boost and as a result power loss
A kind of happy medium is probobly the best solution but maybe someone can direct me the direction.
