Subaru Impreza WRX STi

Comment: Brilliant package for the performance buff. Engine response is stunning once over the turbo lag, while the handling is outstanding. More interior sophistication and a more accomplished ride will complete the package.

Hope this helps , best i could find :subaru:

thanks alot for that... 261bhp..thought it would be bit more but it'll do me nicely.

how come the imports are meant to be up on 300... garage thats sold me mine said it was 285bhp but having driven a Type R that was 290 I knew it was not near that anyway

The Japanese came up with a "gentleman's agreement" that car manufactures e.g Subaru, Mitsubishi... would not produce stock cars over 280ps or 280bhp (can't remember which!!)  :ponder: This is to keep things fair. So any Jap import STI or EVO is never more than the above figure. The dealer who sold me my Type R STI said it was 308bhp just because it is a Type R. Definitly not the case. Unless your dealer/importer is selling you a modified car it won't be over 280.
The EVO FQ300, FQ400 and all FQ's in between are all produced for the UK market.
