:angry:Hi all got a bailys dump valve fitted on Sunday, drove from Antrim, car running fine, try all revs not a single sound???????.
the pistons where checked i think, before hand as the dump v,is pretty new.
i am only driving 1.6 turbo sti turbo,
is there anything or anywhere to go /or do?Pi**ing me off. :hang:

Re: Can anyone help?dump valve fitted ,

Yep 1600 sti turbo to be exact, full rebuild done, lighten pistons, pushing we think 190BHP,not rolling road tested as take out the bigger injectors to save on the full costs!

Re: Can anyone help?dump valve fitted ,

1.6 turbo? very interesting - who built this car? :) maybe he should also fit the dump valve? :)

Re: Can anyone help?dump valve fitted ,

obviously not enough pressure to open the valve..not sure if the bailey has interchangeable pistons or low pressure valves.. :dunno: :dunno:
strange but unique car

Re: Can anyone help?dump valve fitted ,

 :clap:thanks marko, for that i have met some of the ISDC members at scoobyfest, decent bunch of lads,
i really should join the ISDC memebers site asap, maybe than i would be able to show, off my car as i am very intrested in subaru cars.
i bought this car because there is very few ever been done.
i also have 2 other subarus {2.5 legacy and impreza that be redone at present.}
the only reason i asked was this was ther first time a dump valve didnt work for me!

Re: Can anyone help?dump valve fitted ,

Sounds like a interesting motor mate, fair fooks

Back to S.H.i.T. with you for the issue though... your best option IMO

Your very welcome here and it doesent matter if its a 1.6 or 2.0 turbo you have, dont let anyone put you off, If you notice only one Club member actually posted on this thread. BUT if it really is called S.H.I.T Tuning it is VERY funny and deserves a bit of slaging :p

And fair play for having something different

Damo

Re: Can anyone help?dump valve fitted ,

^^^^^^
What Damo said. Definately deserves a slagging, S.H.I.T I mean, not the car
