Octane Boostaholics
I've just bought a subaru .. don't even have it yet. its an irish car whats the story with running it on the 95 octane we get here. I know the japs need to mapped or octane booster used but are the Irish ones ok on the 95.. i'm new and i'm sorry but I do and will be asking alot of dumb questions from time to time

Hey Gerry, The 95 will be ok for the UK car. If it has PPP or anything then they reckon it should be run on 98 or as close to it as possible.

thats great so no need of mapping so.. thanks

No need as ECU on later ones well better then earlier ones and can retard safely. Best results performance wise be ruinning 95+lucas after a ECU reset. But as said not needed.

going totally of subject but what bhp are the newer version 03 sti standard
