i have 2 questions

first is, i put in a boost gauge (bar) about 3-4 months ago, it was fine up to yesterday, and it stopped working, could a pipe or something have come off?

and second is, when the gauge stopped working i noticed it judders when you change down in gears, not going up just when changing down.

are they connected??

any help appreciated
 
Hi mate,

Sounds like the pipe which goes to your turbo is loose and air is getting out. Just make sure it is all connected securely.

As said above,
Just go from one end of the engine bay to the other and check all conections!
Just for the craic check your fuses as well,
If neither of these help I'm sure one of the more knowleagable members will be along shortly to sort you out!

Its a loose vacume hose, as the guys said, check all the vaccume hoses espically around the intake mani, and check around boost controller, and the area where your boost clock is tapped into the intake mani pressure
 
Yes mate,

The juddering would be because the vacuum hose is loose and only some air is getting through, causing it to move a bit...
 
cheers, it is going to subaru on friday, ill get him to have a look then.
