Brakes

Gary S

Petrolheads
I put new disc's and pads on recently and got some brake squeel.
So we took them back off and put more copper grease on them and i'm still been driven mad by the squeeling.
So anybody any ideas.

Pad indicators not set right! (To far forward!) Making contact with Disc! Maybe :dunno: :ponder:

I'd bring the pads back...

I work in a motor factor and have had a few sets of mintex pads back due to squeeks.

Good pads but there can be a few dodgy sets

Are they bed in properly yet?
Remember your bedding in Discs this time not just pads.
Just put a big brake Kit opn my car and had squeeling problems during break in.
Ive also found the copper grease causes annoying rattles from the pads at times as they are able to move freely within the caliper.
They work a treat though
