wobble in the wheel

lads when i press the brake aound 60 or 70mph theres a shudder in the steering wheel, theres nothing there all the way up to 60 or when im just driving along. all the links and ball joints look to be fine, could the disk be warped :dunno:
 
Sounds like a warped disk alright. Can you hear any strange noise when you hit the brakes hard above 60? If warped your brake pads will start to wear unevenly so have a look at them also. You might notice the top of the pad is more worn than the bottom or vice versa.

If you put new pads on a warped disk they will just wear the pads out unevenly again and start to squeal badly within a couple of months.

My girlfriends civic had warped discs and shuddered under braking if going over say 60kph.
