Rear Lights

I swapped the rear lights ages ago and the back fogs stoped working, being honest I did no worry about it but now I have to put the car through the nct in 2 weeks and am wondering if they can fail it because of that..would I be better off just putting the old lights back in for the test

Id say it would be worth your while just for a day hey it would be no big deal

AFAIK, they cannot fail the fog's if there not there, remove the fog's and you should be ok.

Yeah this makes sense, the STi rear light units don't have fogs in them & they pass the NCT.

my 98 wrx has no rear fog and still passed the nct so i wouldnt worry bout it
