Power Steering Belt

Lads need a bit of advice.

When I bought my car the steering belt was jumping & noisy at low revs. Dropped it into a garage who done the timing belt and power steering belt - happy days... i thought.

About 4 months later the steering is acting up again. When the car is cold or running at low revs, the steering is noisy and jumpy. Anyone any ideas whats causing this? Do you's recon the belt was actually done? Fluid levels are all OK so I'm :ponder:!

Thanks in advance lads :subaru:

You should be able to see if its a new belt. Open the bonnet and look behind the rad. You'll see 2 belts.
The left one does the power steering and alternator. See if its too loose or too tight.
There should be some give in it but not much if you flex it by pressing down on the flat side of it.

Hi Brian.
What wheels have you got on your car? I like them they look similar to mine. What size are they/tyres?
Cheers
