P1 brakes differences?

Hi guys,

does anybody know if there are any differences between Impreza P1 and STI v5/6 (including Type R)? I'm mainly interested in brake system.
I bought Goodridge braided brake hoses for my car (told that's good for all Imprezas Turbo from those years) and after that I found there's a separate set of hoses for P1, which
I thought P1 is more or less (I know about drives, gearbox, dccd differences) the same - ok, let's say pretty similar in many parts- as Type R.

I was told that P1 set of hoses has a slightly longer front hoses. Any idea what is it for?
I know that opposite to TypeR - P1 has an ABS system. But actually all standard STIs have it too, right? So what makes P1 different from the other STIs? And is Type R also different in the same way?

So actually I'm a bit confused which of hoses should I actually use :)

First things first - do you have a P1 or a STi?

Some P1's had the upgraded Prodrive Alcon discs and calipers.

Alan.

I own STI Type R my99 - and I don't know which set should I actually use then - P1 or standard Impreza Turbo set.

cheers

Thanks for the link - so maybe that's the answer, I have actually model 201 - so maybe I should better get those "400" hoses then.

ehhh...
Cheers
