gearbox and diff

lads can anyone find out or know what type of power is safe to run on standard 03 b4 gearbox and diffs. have been told that the engines and gearboxs are the same a the bugeye not sure of diff. Thanks lads

Safely id say around 360/380 bhp,but i have heard 400 is max...

rev d b4 gearbox is the same as the bugeyes..same ecu aswell..so what ever the bugeyes gearbox can take...you bottom will give out way before your gearbox

thanks for the info lads hitting the overtime to get the funds together to upgrade to the 2.5 lt with forgered pistons that dave is doing special on. turbos going to be fucked though on the 2.5 so dont want to have to change box and diffs also. thats alot more power than i thought they would take as was told that there were pretty weak. thanks again lads.
