Apexi Power Intake.YES or NO??????

Hi all,

I got a Apexi Power Intake induction kit for my Jap 97WRX. Can anyone tell me if its a good induction kit for this model??

Don't know much about Apexi power intake
but normally induction kits and cone filters can cause probs
with Subaru...............unless you get the car mapped once fitted.

That said there has been a number of lads fit some newer versions
so hopefully 1 of them might help you there.

Prob's in the past have been blown Maf sensors etc....

Hi, the apexi in general are really efficient filters, far superior to the hks filtration wise. The mafs generally are weaker in the 99-00 subarus then the older classics.

Have one on mine and haven't had any problems in the 10 months I've had the car (and it looks like it's been on the car for some time). I have a JDM MY95 WRX.
