Air Filter

Hi lads,

My Impreza came with a non-standard air filter, the garage I bought it from put it on, it is brand new. I was wondering is this ok for the car without a remap? I still have the stock air filter in the boot, so I can stick it on at anytime...

Do you mean a cone filter? Is yours a classic?

If so I'd recommend taking it off, they can cause trouble for the maf sensor. Better to be safe than sorry

As above, or if its a panel filter just make sure its not an oil based one.
