whats the recommended running in period for a bran new turbo picked mine up 2day and was just wondering how long id have to run it in b4 mapping???

Well you should map the car pretty much straight after fitting if its a bigger turbo than standard.....

i understand what your sayen but i was told not to drive it hard for awhile and to just drive with a small bit of boost and not to hammer up the gears at full boost b4 mapping just wondering how long tho
Al-hks i don't think turbos need to be run-in (stand to be corrected on this)
just that you can not dive hard until you have your car mapped for this new turbo.
after i fitted a new turbo i didn't go over 3000/3500rpm until mapped
Otherwise our engine will suffer from det.
