Hi I have a 2003 Wrx turbo (non sti) blobeye. Mods: (As far as I know) HKS air intake, HKS back box, HKS BOV, horrible green and blue hoses, some kind of defi controller in the glove box .
I was having some issues the last few weeks of only reaching 0.5 bar boost. I connected the green plugs under the dash and could hear the boost control solenoid clicking. I realised the vacuum hoses had been changed and the restrictor pill was missing. So from the advice in the other thread I put in a 1.1mm welding tip. I reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery and pumping the brakes, then leaving for a few minutes. I took it out just now and it seems to boost forever, I left off once it reached over 1.2bar. Does this mean I have an aftermarket boost solenoid which doesn't require the pill?
