Power FC with FC Commander question

Looking at picking up a Power FC with a commander for the wagon.

Are they easy enough to stick it in and map yeah? I know they are a good bit of kit and fairly versatile. Be good investment going forward I'd imagine.

Anyone with experience fitting it themselves?

old tech now
you still have to get a mapper to set it up
so might as well just get ecutek map really
suits the models before yours more so that need the piggy back ecu job done
not something for a v6 impreza

If i decide bigger turbo down the line better to have EcuTek or this? Coming off of a 00 Impreza UK Turbo with a VF22.

what kind of money on it ?
really its the difference in price of buying this and getting mapped vs getting a ecutek map
factory ecu smarter id say also
