Eco Button

So my Subaru Legacy 2.0GT 2006 is due here shortly and from the pictures i can see there is an ECO button beside the Auto stick. What exactly does it do? Also i plan on mapping my car for Irish fuel so does this button have to be taken into account if the car can essentially be ran on 2 different settings?

Limits boost to actuator pressure at low rpm.

Might be possible to setup ecu to use that as a second map button? You'd need to ask whatever mapper you're going to use.

It switches of the boost solinoid. So car runs actuator pressure

Yes guys on uk have used it to have a different map. Which it essentially already does. Make sure mapper maps the Eco setting as well as normal
