Mate left his car into get few bits sprayed

Picked it up at night

Didn't notice there was little dots of primer all over car from another job.

Body's shop said they'd fix it and not returning his calls now.

I suggested petrol on a rag to remove or Clay bar...

Anyone know if thease will work or should he try something else?

Cheers

If properly dried like it is... then personally would just use a good resin polish with a machine polisher... it will take it off.

I'd still pursue shop first though, before trying to remove it... Else they might argue down the road he "messed it up".

That should never have happened (should have a separate area for spraying and preparing to prevent overspray and dust contamination).

Take pics now and have documented proof like text or email to show your friend contacted the body shop to notify them.
Get estimate from other shop for putting it right... and then... small claims court (little effort and good for up to a grand without the cost for a solicitor etc).

Don't go petrol on a rag route on fresh paint that's for sure .

Clay bar and elbow grease will lift it no problem .

Why does it have to be so hard to get anything done right in this country

I'll let you know
