Down on Power

Hi All,

My bug is down on power.

Hesitation between 4-5k

No pull as such, very flat and slow to rev.

Occasionally if redlined a cel light is thrown up

Getting a p0340 a camshaft sensor warning.

Sometimes it just comes right for a couple of seconds and the difference is considerable.

Is this a common problem?

Sounds like it's gone into limp home mode, and I wouldn't be redlining it either
