As above what's the best stuff to use
Also the alloy parts have a white sort of corrosion what's the best way to get it back to new.
Also best way to do it as in power washer or just hose
Have a few days off so hoping to get at it next week
Cheers
Keith

Get that in most motor factors
city auto have walkinstown and rather motor factors
there used to be a red / orange one called power max 3 iirc it was great
that and a wheel brush and of ya go
there's lots of things you can use
That would be the most readily available in a. Decent size container 5L

Gunk Foam engine degreaser.

Take out battery and go around the whole engine and cling film off alternator, all sensors etc. Spray in, agitate really murky parts with detailing brushes/paint brushes.

Rinse with watering can with sprinkler end or a hose with mist attachment.

Or Chemical Guys Grime Reaper APC but it doesn't foam. Have heard the Gunk stuff isn't as good as it used to be but I got good results from it.

This is the grime reaper with 50:50 dilute before and after just from spraying on, leaving to soak for 5 mins and then rinse off. Spotless with a bit of elbow grease.

Before

After

Done mine before just as above.
Any decent engine degreaser.
Strong wheel brush.
Cover any elictric bits.
And just small amount of water from hose.
Worst I found was intercooler never did yet a right job on it.
Annoying when the rest comes up if the intercooler is a bid tired looking.

Bit of trim dressing on the plastics and pipes when she dries

Gunk from halfords is brilliant for eating away the oily grimy bits. AUTOSOL for the corroded alloy and some trafalgar for the faded/dried plastic and rubber.
