Converting to RWD?

Before anyone asks or is worried YES I have done a lot of research and know the craic and what can happen if I do this and dog the car
I had a spare centre diff from another gearbox I have and I said feck it why not give it a go and see what its really like, I can always return to 4WD with the original centre diff I have in the car at the moment I don't think I would have bothered if I only had the one centre diff.

My question is anyone on here ever done it? Weld the centre diff to convert to RWD?
Just looking to see anyone have any tips before I put the welded one in as I got the spare one welded last night so just waiting to install it now really

yes welded a few of them .. its normally best to weld them in situ as the shafts will be lined before u weld .. easier to fit after .. its hit and miss if it will last or not ..
