Squealing noise??

Have this squealing noise coming from drivers side wheel, i thought it was the brake pads because i could hear it from the car when braking but when i roll down the window it squeals constantly and gets louder when i press on the brakes. only noticed it today[emoji36] .

sounds like metal over metal - I had similar sound on my older red impreza, and after removing brake discs, I noticed that the rear plate that is supposed to cover and protect the disc from inside, was bent a bit and in certain situations, e.g. turnabouts, it was making exactly same sound
 
Small piece on side of pad so when area 20% life left will squeel against disc.

Yes will stay At it so a change the pads is in order . I always brake them off when installing new pads but pads are always checked regularly . Remove wheel and check depending on wheel migh see between spokes :thumbsup:
