STi genome defi boost gauge and module issues

So I already started this on another thread but it's cause confusion with a unrelated issue.

I noticed the boost guage was indicating 1bar at idle and going off the clock when it started to spool, even though the car was driving like usual.

I switched the car off and back on and it reset itself and was working fine.

After fiddling around with it iv narrowed it down to the cable going from the module into the back of the gauge itself. It seems to be causing the needle to jump around the place when moved.

Sometimes it sticks and sometimes it zeros itself at some random point on the gauge, and acts like normal moving around around the turbo spools.

Now I got access to the module under the dash and has two connectors going in (power and ecu I'm assuming) and one going from the module to the gauge. As well as some buttons on the front for resetting and controlling it. But only the connector with

I can't get any of the connectors off the unit as I'm afraid of damaging it by forcing them, I'm not sure if there is a trick to releasing them.

Anyone ever encountered this or have a clue how to release the connectors.uploadfromtaptalk1448480196561.jpg

They went that broken till the module was rattling loose under the dash. But could have been broke or shorting and causing the intermittent signal to the gauge. Will I try fix it or can you buy them?

See that's what I needed, either someone to set it up properly for me or just take the time to figure it out, be cool to mount a tablet into the car and have all your info up. There's a matt farah one take and a guy has a forester with sti running gear and has 2 tablets mounted from what I can remember, I'll try and link it
