Throttle Position Sensor Question

Petrolheads
Hi all,
Aonghus Power is mapping the wagon on Alcatek after a single tubby conversion (among other things!!) and he got in touch to see if I changed throttle body.
He said: "Having a problem with throttle position sensor signal being erratic and voltage when closed is about .6v higher than it should be"

Could the problem just be the sensor or would a problem with the throttle body cause the sensor to act up? I have the throttle body and sensor from my old car but I think the Rev A-C sensors are different to Rev D.
Rev A-C sensors are same part no. as ver 5-6 impreza so would I be correct in assuming that Rev D would be the same as ver 7 impreza in case i can't get hold of a sensor from a breaking Rev D

Thanks

Most likely just tge sensor nothing in a throttle bodies to give trouble

But very cleary 0.46-.52v closed to high 4.7/.8 Open.

If at .6v higher then is reading 1.1v closed.

So can be clearly seen if working correctly or not

Thanks lads for the info and the kind words!

Dave, sorry, don't really understand what you mean. Does it sound like the sensor is dodgy? Do you have a Rev D breaking? I'll buzz you in the morning. Thanks
