newage shocks into 92 legacy?

will a set of nearly new 2003 blobeye sti shocks fit the 92 legacy rs that i have:dontknow: found out today that both left side shocks are knacker and have the nct booked for next tuesday....can get the sti ones for 300 euro if they'll fit...
 
also will classic lowering springs fit the newage ones as i was getting them fitted until i got the call about the shocks:hammerhead:
 
read online that the front will fit no bother and the rear top mounts will need changing, also read that the newage shocks are longer than the classic ones so the ride height will be taller, can anyone confirm this?
 
ive 98 wrx shocks fitted at the moment so theres no worries with another set of those fitting but just in a bit of a jam to get it ready for the nct on tuesday coz its goin getting a stainless system fitted on saturday so im fairly caught for time...
