great thump going into 3rd gear auto transmission

as title says
great thump going into 3rd gear auto transmission


always hard to describe symptoms

but car going up from 2nd to 3rd gear either in d or sport or using manual trip is a massive thump

sometimes high revs and when i back off the throttle a little it slams into gear

at oil level is fine...

i left battery disconnected overnight and it seem to go away for a while....short while

anyone any insight or similiar experience?

I don't know... I inherited this car....
oil is very clean... but could be wrong oil....
car only 100k miles... so its a pity

i can get auto transmission cheap enough 2nd hand.. but would need an installer as I don't have facilities

or maybe there's another solution someone has

all solutions appreciated

problem solved?

bought some "magic" liquid in a bottle for transmission ...and it all went away in a few days

name of the potion was rislone for transmisssions....

go figure ????20 euro a bottle.....cured
