turbo inlet hose

having a trouble with mine original inlet hose. so thinking what buy next? have couple choices
1.original subaru inlet pipe. kinda not cheap for plastic pipe. plus thinking if mine old gone so i guess new will be gone too sooner or later and will be looking again.
2.Good quality silicone hose like perrin or samco. fairly expensive things. it will last longer that OE hose i think. plus kinda give some performance(which i doubt)
3.silicone pipe kinda ebay stuff or autobahn88. but hear horror stories about them collapse when turbo sucks air.

so which way to go best?
 
I'd go with the Samco man good quality seriously doubt extra performance but they are tough stuff think murray motorsport have them in there store????

I would advise on budget genuine Subaru.


Although you say its plastic. It has lasted this 14 years.


Second be Genuine Samco.
Can supply both
 
plastic one tends to be fine and lasts, but when taken on and off a few times and you dont torque it on correctly can cause it to get ripped. Samco and similar are a lot harder to fit! Be prepared for some sore knuckles
 
so far just looking around. checking prices and etc.
trying make my mind.
just cant locate perrin 2.4" hose in uk or ireland
