Just in from Japan, what do i need to do????

Hi all,As im new to these subaru engines, what should i do to
ensure that my legacy wont blow up! :dunno:

I have heard that the engines are fussy if not minded!Its a 99 b4 legacy and it is still set up for jap fuel, wot do i need to do to make it ok to run on our fuel and who can do it for me!!!

the timing belt was just changed and an aluminium rad fitted!!Is there anything important i should watch or look out for apart from the obvious! oil/water/etc!

And are the brakes on these legacys utter sh1t or is it just mine :shock:, seems to be 2 brake fluid resevoirs under the bonnet as well?????

Really appreciate your help lads as i need to learn!

Just PM DaveLegacy on here or else throw up a post in the STi Tuning section on the forum for him.
He seems to be the boy to do the legacy's at the moment... He'll put ya right.
 
Got my Legacy mapped by Davelegacy as soon as i bought it and its going like a dream, using 1/3 bottle of NF and Maxol E5. By all accounts you cant be too carefull with the Legacy engine so PM Dave and he will be on to you as soon as, think he has a couple of mapping dates set up in the near future with Bob Rawle from the UK, he did mine and he is the man!!!
 
Yeah sortin it out at the moment!
Gonna get it up to stage one while im doin it!
walbro fuel pump
pannel filter
decat pipe
cat back
new plugs
remap.
Workin out around 1600 but it will be sorted!!!
Anyone have a stage one setup????
what is it like? is it loud?

So basically is it worth it??? 1600 is a lot in january!!!

i rang damien and he is gonna try and squeeze me in on the feb mapping session!
