Exhaust question

Petrolheads
I got an exhaust systen today. Its a 3" system but the flange where it joins the down pipe it's 2.5" .
My down pipe is 3" so can't see it joining up. Is there a spacer/adopter you can buy to make it fit?

Grim speed do a adapter I bought one last year
Somewhere around 80 euro iirc
I'd sell it for 50
Did about 1k miles on it

Don't think that will do me as there is a lip for using the oem gasket on that adopter and i have no place on the exhaust flange for that type gasket.

Think I used the donut gasket alright when I fitted it
Alright
Souhans or similar so be your best bet [emoji106]

Was the flange on the cat back flat or was it like oem and had a place for the gasket to fit into?

Ya I have a 3" flange in the garage so might just weld it on. Thanks

I think the donut gasket was in the original downpipe and it actually sat in to the adapter in between both at least 75% of it
Don't think it went in mid section at all as didn't fit in iirc

Thanks but I'm in cork. I was looking at them online earlier so say it's the same as you have.i think the ones I was looking at are designed for using a 3" down pipe with the oem cat back system.
