Made a start on fitting the rear calipers to my car today. After finally getting a rounded bolt out and getting the oversized handbrake shoes fitted I've now come across another problem and it's a bit of a big one. The brackets I have for them don't seem to come close to mating up to the hub correctly. The holes line up fine but with the caliper fitted it doesn't line up to the disc properly.
Anybody fitted rear brembos to a Legacy before and come across this problem? As far as I'm aware the discs are spot on so to me it's the bracket itself that is wrong. It is a straight one piece bracket and looks as though if the part that connects to the caliper was stepped down from the part that connects to the hub then it would be fine.
Any suggestions welcome.
