Bought a new set of rear discs last weekend so I can finally get around to fitting the rear Brembo calipers(about 3 years late). They arrived during the week and going to make a start on fitting them over the weekend. The discs have an oily film on them which I presume is to prevent rust while they are in storage etc. How should I go about cleaning this before fitting them? Will soapy water or brake cleaner on a cloth be sufficient or should I go about it another way?

brake cleaner and then a rub with some light sand paper should do it mark
