Dash cam

I have been meaning to get one of these fitted for the last year or two. Does anyone have one in their Subaru, they can recommend thats tried and tested and decent quality?


Fit and forget - needs to start recording as soon as you start the engine and stop recording a couple of mins after you turn off engine, easy to install would be a plus
Good quality recording - needs to be good in daylight and also at night
Screen/display - have small screen or easy to connect to laptop to make sure its positioned properly
Size - Not too large so its distracting you while driving

I was going to start using my gopro for this but its very manual process and big bulky mounts on that. Answers or suggestions on a post card

I want one built into the back of my satnav next. Handy for the odd trackday too. Just get a big memory card.

Just mount a ahesive mount for the go pro Dan and pop it in when you set of.

Pointless spending money on something you have in a go pro already.
