turbo timers

i have a sigma alarm fitted 2 my impreza and was told if i wanted 2 have a t timer that the immobiliser 2 the furl pump would have 2 be disconnected. is this true???? also i hear the chip in the key mite be a problem?? any truth in this???????? :dunno:

I'm not too sure what way a Sigma alarm works but I presume you want to set the alarm and walk off while the turbo timer is still running? I had to remove my TT when I got my Clifford installed but it has an in-built turbo timer... But I don't know if this feature is available with Sigma? Sorry.
