Need to replace the maf in my V5 type R so was searching the net for a price.
Not much luck. Anybody know the cost from Subaru?
Anyway, while i was looking i found a few threads saying that the maf off a Nissan Almera TDI is the same as used on an impreza except half the price.
Apparently many people use them now.
Anybody hear of this?
Cheers

Nissan part number being 22680-7j600

To be honest stick with a genuine subaru part when it comes to the MAF...
As for price i think yours is the same as mine...bout €120..
What year is yours???

Yeah was thinking it a risk myself.
Its a late 98 model V5.
Might try get the part number off it myself cos they have to email japan otherwise and it takes longer.

Hi Damian.
Im not certain its the maf sensor as my scanguage hasn't arrived yet. But my check engine light keeps coming on and the symptoms i described to you like fuel cut happened today in 3rd exiting a roundabout with only a slight amount of pressure on the throttle and the check engine light was flashing also.
General lumpy/jerky feel when engine cold too.
Could you PM me a price on your maf please as id rather send the business your way.
Cheers

Cheers Matt, PM going your way. If you havent figured it out by the time Pat is here we can get his lap top hooked up and see whats happening.
