Oem bov or forge (dump to atmosphere )

Got a forge on the car the last while but hear a few things about the aftermarket ones making the car run rich is this true have the oem one there might throw it in

What's the general thoughs on oem v aftermarket lads??
 
OEM or aftermarket recirc ftw. From what I know when over a certain boost level. You need a stiffer spring, to deal with the boost better. Unless ur OEM one is leaking stick with that. Unless u want that noise. Vta runs rich on gear changes for a split second. Never heard of anyone killing an engine over one!!
 
don't know much about the differance ciaran but i remember martin treacy at westward telling me to get rid of the hks sq blow off valve that was on the sti when i bought it and put original back on as it can result in a loss of a bit of power as car isn't set up for it ( he gave me a more technical explanation which i have forgotten)- i didnt coz im a child and love the noise and its running fine although it has been remapped with the hks sq blow off valve on it
