Rattling chain noise when driving.

The last few days I've noticed a screech when driving and assumed
it was the pads which I'll be changing soon.

But today and different noise started when driving straight and it
gets worse when turning left. It sounds like a chain being rattled
on the front left. Anyone know what it might be?
 
Bring to a mechanic is the best advice otherwise just guess work. No chains on Subaru anyways

I went for another drive and at low speeds its screeches but its not
too bad. When I go faster it gets worse and when I turn left its at its worst.
I'll bring it to my mechanic tomorrow.
 
as above could be anything . wear indicators on the pads is my guess whats the prize if i win :icon_grin: :icon_grin:

Sounds like brake pad wear indicators to me had wrx into my garage today with same symptoms replaced brake pads all sorted
