Engine light after downpipe install

As above, fitted my decat downpipe and the next day my engine light came on.

Is this normal until mapping or will I need it turned off.

If it ain't normal any ideas what it could be. I have ordered a code reader so should be here in next day or two.

Isn't there some cable you have to get to clear the light on new ages after you fit a downpipe
But maybe it can be cleared for good when mapping without it

I have read about these things today to remove the cel.

There an extension for the O2 sensor.

its normal keith its because the rear oxygen sensor is too hot due to no cat fitted get the mapper to turn it off or raise temp threshold of the sensor
iv used similar things to below and they do work but your mapping so no need
