Cel light

Lads i have a cel light coming on, it seems to be first thing in the morning it comes on for a few mins then its off :dunno:
A friend of mine has done a fault code and its coming up as a idel control valve so i changed it and im still getting a cel light up.
Some times when driving hard if you back off the cel comes on, but if i clutch in and let the revs drop to idel when the car is still
moving at about 120kmph the light will go out, back on the power and no cel light. Its fooking wrecking me head at this stage.
Anyone ever had the same prob.

if it comes on when you're giving it stick only or just after it could be the knock sensor :dunno:

keith have you checked all the connections...maybe one of the wires are not tightly in place...??? :dunno:

dude i have somthing like that it started with a clicking sound
now when the light comes on it wont take power its like its
over boosting apparently paulo had somthing like this
but he wouldnt reply to my pm
my advice bring it to a main dealer
if its reverting to basic settings to protect itself
if ur modified u could be running lean
that could burn a great big hole in piston 2

That sounds very like a boost solenoid. You just need to clean it out. It is on the drivers side suspension turret.

The power is there all the way up as above your prob sounds like a boost valve try cleaning it.
I dont know what mine is has me head wrecked
