Wondering if anyone can shed any light on this. My brother in law was driving up a hill earlier on its a forester a turbo and as he was going up the hill it started to chuck as if it wasn't getting any petrol and when he got to the top it just cut out. Then it wouldn't turn over it took about 10 mins before the engine turned over, now it has been fine since with no problems to report.
He recently sent it in for nct and it passed but they did mention that the 02 sensor might be on the way out. Just wondering if this could be the cause of it cutting out
