Any point in GTspec headers?

As above, is there any point in changing to a set of these if your only going to be running about 400bhp? Im just thinking negatively if i take my headers off and they are cracked or any damage that i would stick a new set on, very hard to find a new set of standard twinscroll headers, so any negatives of the gtspec/tomei headers? I know the standard twinscroll ones are hard to beat, but once they are not a downgrade i would consider them.

Original impreza ones are perfect to over 500bhp.

I cannot say if your design is same as never had two side by side.

A second hand good condition set of o.e impreza imo would do the job nicely.

Spec c headers on mine. Can u buy replacement heatshields or is it best just to take them off and replace with dei wrap or similar?

Sorry thought you just replaced the uppipe.

Not sure if can get the sheilds on there own. Near sure they are factory tack welded on impreza twin scroll ones. If so i doubt it.

Yeah i think ill just inspect them while they are off and if still fine just put some fresh heatwrap on them and use them with new turbo
