considering coilovers for the type r, gonna do few track days, but also a road car,

wondering what lads are using ? and how they find them, I know a lot good/bad said about certain ones,

lets say a budget of 1000/1200 max

thanks

i'll say bc's proabley the best good budget coilover on the market between 8/900

most lads seem to use bc which are a very capable setup, wagon dec set up joes legacy on bc and baz has them in his wagon,i'm sure there's more, they have different levels of damping settings and you'd have change out of a grand, few traders do them sti tuning and couture,i have tein in my wagon and i dind them good but if i was buying new id go with bc

Was looking at HSD race logic or kw v3 (but there bit dearer)

Bc get good reviews, but I wouldn mind spendin small bit more on summit if it was a lot better

I have the teins super street in both cars, track and hawk and find them very good for road and track

There a happy medium

Yea need get thinkin, theres lots of options about, are the teins not mad money??

Think there around 1200€

I've i was buying coilovers now I'd go with the BC ones, they seem to get good reviews and are a good price

The good thing about BC is, that they are quite comfy compared to the other coilovers. Very good on the bumpy irish roads and with 30 way adjustable damping, they can be quickly made stiffer to the track.
I have the standard BR with 5/4 kg springs in my type-R and I'm very happy with them.

I bought mine directly from BC in the UK http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/
and their customer service is excellent.

I would defo recommend getting the rear adjustment extenders as well. They make the rear damping adjustment easy. Without them the rear seat has to be taken out every time in the Impreza.

waiting on crowd in uk come back to me that supply/specialise in fast road/track/rally.

So will have prices etc, BC seam to be decent for the money, but as said I would spend a small bit more if I was getting a much better kit

seem to be a big jump for the next step up lar as in from 850 for bc's to 1400-1500 for tein or gaz gold which is a lot unless your doing good mileage

I can get tein streetflex for bout a grand, kw bout 1600ish,

so if tein is better than bc for in around 200 quid. its a no brainer
