so the story goes , a friend of a friend has a irish 04 wrx

throwing up fault code P0031
oxegen sensor
heater control
circuit low
bank 1
sensor 1

iv been asked to try and find out "location of sensor " and would this affect "boost control" .

Any info or help on this would be appriciated as im no mechanic and the above goes over my head .

and iv already told this friends friend he should join up

thats the o2 sensor at the top of the downpipe i think. well i replaced mine and it cleared that code. boost would be limited, well it was on mine and drove like shite and low idle

sensor 1 is on the downpipe, as far as i know if MIL is on then boost is limited to actuator pressure.

Its air fuel sensor.

Most common as can get.

Denso exact same as dealer supplied replacent e195.00. Dealer e370.00

Installed and ecu reset etc e245.00

japanparts can have them very cheap, i got one for mine for 70 euro for the air fuel sensor, genuine subaru one too.

Legacy parts are usually more expensive than impreza ones, looks like i win this time. not sure its the same fitment as the impreza's though

21000 yen. Thats e151.00. Plus e15.00 delivery. + 23% duty is e37.95. That is e202.95

So we can supply at 195.00 next day.

Or can pay an extra e7.95 and wait 15days.
