Sti Hesitation when cold

Sunday Drivers
My STI is hesitating when cold, at low rpm between2-3k it seems pretty random sometimes it will happen frequently sometimes not at all, it always rectifies if i lay of acceleration for a second then go back on it again, and then when the car is warm and im at highish speed 80-100kmh if i hit the accelerator it will hesitate slightly again before it reaqlly takes off, any ideas? bad plugs? coils?

Thanks for your help in advance

Nope no CEL's strangely and it happens pretty much every time i drive it so would think it would trigger a CEL. would it be worth getting a diagnostic check without a CEL or?

Yeah could be when my maf gave up altogether the car was seriously down on power drinking fuel but yet no cel it only showed up on diagnostics

I only have the car about 2 months, so when the plugs were changed is anybodys guess, i suppose i should start there as it would be the easiest to rule out.

Doesn't sound like a maf is gone,

Sounds like spark to me, change or check plugs and then leads

As above... full service and plugs.

I've found of late on very, very wet, moist mornings that my own is a little hesitant till it gets warm. It appears to be just moisture in engine bay and a damp coil pack/HT lead.

Coil pack or maf :dontknow:
Best thing would be to get in to a trader on here and let them have a look
