remapping a 98 irish turbo, can i flash or do i need a new ecu, all mods ready

as above, can i flash it or do i need a new ecu. can u advise on what to get. i have all mods ready and waiting to go into car. just need to know about this first
 
If the cool pack is in the middle it's a v4, so you would need an after market ecu

If the coil pack is to the right it's a v5 and you can get the standard ecu mapped
 
So it is a big difference. It's a good few hundred euro difference.
If it is a case I've to get different ecu wats my best and most cost effective option.
If I don't have to get one I just pay for the mapper to do his job
