hi lads , i have a set of rota p1,s , 18 x 7.5 , 18x8 off set 45 before i get these sand blasted will they be ok on my 06 sti they clear the brakes but just want to be sure, they came off a honda s2000 also can i run 225x 45s . thanks...
 
You've 2 sizes there - are they 18x7.5 or 18x8?

Plenty of lads running 18's on newages should be able to confirm 225/45 won't rub so I'll let them answer that.
 
but if all 4 tyres were the same size and the off set was the same surely they would not mess up the diffs.
 
they will be fine man once the offset is the same on the rims and you use the same size tyre you should have no issue only that the narrower rim will have a slight stretch look on the side wall of the tyre but that's no harm to the car, I would run 225/40/18 that's whats on mine and no rubbing
