wheel judder

hi guys as above i get a really bad judder in the steering wheel when i brake. only really happens when im going above 60 or so. originally i though it was warped discs so i changed them. was ok for a few weeks then came back. same with pads i changed them and still the same. altogether ive tried 2 sets of discs , 1 new pair and 1 used pair and 2 sets of pads....and still no joy..
any advice/ suggestions?? Car is 2004 blob sti type uk prodrive

Could be worn bushing or steering track rod end. Have a similiar issue with wagon at the mo. Need to get it on a ramp to diagnose it as its driving me mad.
 
i got it tracked bout 2 weeks ago and they said it was fine so i dont know where to go from here , same as that its drivin me mad...
 
Just remember when getting the tracking done that they may not necessarily check for worn components so further investigation may be required.
