service question..

well lads doin a service on my wrx i have gotten all needed oil plugs fuel/air/oil filter diff oil and mobil engine oil i got a set of ngk 7b plugs al togeteher costing 150euro bit more costely than your average car!! the question im askin is shud the gap on the ngks be ok or shud i gap them to a certain spec before putting them in dont want to do all only to have to take them out and adjust them??

My mapper told me to gap mine to 0.65/0.7 mm as they are not right out of the box

sound ill have to source a tool to measure that now thatl be the next job

I always set mine to .8mm if its too small of a gap it will not burn efficiently and if its to wide it will not spark correctly at high boost I would set them at about .7-.8mm and they will be grand

Your local motor factors should have feeler gauges

cheers ill try halfords in the morning hopfuly they shud have one so .75-.80 is around the best..
