Help needed... Electric windows...???

Hey all..

I've a dilemma with the type r project cars electric windows.

I can't get them down since I've stripped out the looms... In hindsight I should have left them down before I stripped the car but I never wanted dust to get inside. I know have nothing bar the door looms in place and I need to retract the glass down into the door to remove trim for painting.

Can they be manually wound down... Or has anyone any clever ideas for supplying power to the switch off a battery to power them down. Struggling to find wiring diagram.. That aside... I'm an electrics numpty and can't figure out how to do it.

Any help greatly welcome.

could you possibly plug the door in to your wagon and use the loom from that

Thought that Colm... But loom may not be the same as control in wagon as it does rears too. Plus.. I'm not sure loom would stretch.

a 12v supply and an earth will get it down jamie

as scooby sub said get car battery and attach 12v+ to one pin of motor and - to other pin, if window does not go down then reverse wires

Haven't had a good look at motor wires yet. I tried the 12v supply to loom and switch but can't get it to work. I'll by pass switch and go straight to motor terminals instead.
