IronX

So I bought some IronX, a big ass microfibre drying towel and some Tardis off the chaps in Cleancar.ie.

Here's the results of the IronX. I snow foamed the car first and let it sit for 10 mins. Rinsed. Let the heavy water drain off. While still wet I sprayed on the IronX. On the bottle it says to do one panel at a time but I figured it's PH neutral, nothing aggressive so was no harm in letting it dwell. I sprayed the whole car and let it sit on each panel for the time it took me to come back to where I started. I then did the wheels and then started rinsing panel by panel.

My reason for the IronX was even with a good hot foam there was still crap bedded in to the paint and I've yet to try a clay bar and polishing takes prep time and then the time to do it.

Here's it in action and the results.

I'm not going to rate the Tardis just yet as where I was using it had a nasty breeze so I couldn't apply it properly from the mist spray but in saying that it took off an awful lot of tree sap/tar/residue from just spraying and rinsing panel by panel as opposed to the suggested method of spray/sit/wipe/rinse.

Tree Sap Before.

Aaaaaaaand I've just realised I forgot to take the after pictures. :booboo:

its good stuff all right , ordered some from clean car just on Friday as I ran out ,

Have the tardis here also , great stuff ,

Both are excellent products, the only problem with tardis is there's little dwell time as its the same viscosity as water. But its usually enough for most tar spots, just the larger ones need a few applications. Forget about doing the whole car at once, do it panel by panel so it doesn't dry in, and wash the car completely again afterwards.

You should still use a clay bar after the above as well to completely smooth the surface and get the remnants of tree sap, and other contaminants.

That will really bring up the white well

Thankfully moving out on Monday from the apartments Robbie. New place has a garage and garden so I'll have more motivation and ease to clean her up.

Did that place we spoke about work out or is it a different place?

Different place. We really liked the one I talked to you about but long and short the agent dealing with it is a bellend IMO.

As Rob said above hit the car with some clay after you Tardis and iron x and it will sort out all bonded contaminants. The Bilt hammer clay is probably best on the market and is cheap also.
