Legacy B4 Rsk Dipstick

HI guys ,
i recently purchased a 2000 b4 rsk twin turbo , however I find it hard to get accurate oil readings ,
the oil level sometime shows high at the back (no marking side) and low on the marked side (halfway u
between l and f) also does it matter which way the dipstick goes in ie oil sign upside down or facing out ,

It's because the angle it enters the sump I always use the highest side . Also doesn't matter which way you put it .It's still the same length
